Al-Shaheed Hospital

Al-Shaheed Hospital is a mega project by Shaheed Foundation Pakistan (registered), aiming to provide better and affordable medical facilities to the public in Pakistan. This project will consist of a 350-bed hospital and a nursing school. The Foundation has already acquired one acre of land on Shahrah-e-Pakistan for this purpose in past.

Constructing a quality hospital requires a significant amount of funding. Keeping this challenge in mind, the Foundation has decided to proceed in phases. In the first phase, Outpatient Department (OPD) services will be provided, followed by the gradual introduction of other facilities.

On June 26, 2024, the courageous daughter of the nation, Mehzar Zehra, performed the groundbreaking for the OPD.

It is worth noting that in 2012, Mehzar Zehra and her father were targeted in a shooting incident. Her father Shaheed Syed Nazar Abbas Zaidi was martyred, and Mehzar sustained a spinal injury that left her permanently paralyzed.
