Eid Gift Project 2021: Generously Participate to Bring Joy to Martyrs Families

Shaheed Foundation Pakistan is an institutionalized effort to offer comprehensive services for families of Shohada-e-Millat-e-Jaffaria Pakistan, currently serving according to Mar 2021 Financial Report 1927 families of martyrs in 66 cities across Pakistan with a monthly amount of Rs.25,005,720/- distributed.

The major philosophy of the institutionalized effort is hinged around the need to offer complete guardianship to the family and children of martyrs in the apparent physical absence of the martyred member.

Comprehensive programs focusing on health, education, counselling and grooming of heirs of martyrs' families are painstakingly implemented so as to alleviate their sense of loss, grief, deprivation and victimization and for integrating them into the mainstream of the society to make them a contributing citizen of the beloved country.

Eid-ul-Fitr and other such festive occasions provide a unique opportunity to bring smiles on the faces of heirs of these benefactors of our millat- our martyrs, our pride.

Detailed, considered thought and practise of nearly a well over two decades now, since inception in 1996, has helped Shaheed Foundation Pakistan design and gradually improve overtime, a number of healthy entertainment activities for families and children of martyrs like picnics, bakra mandi and national day commemoration visits to historic places.

On the blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Shaheed Foundation has had a long set tradition of reaching out to the noble families of martyrs by humbly presenting the children and family members of martyrs with gifts fitting to the occasion.

Last year due to lack of fund and Covid 19, Shaheed Foundation Pakistan unable to do this project.

This year's amount has been set to Rs 1500 per person for every family.

Bouquets are affixed to decorate the graves of martyrs in various graveyards right across Pakistan on night preceding Eid-ul-Fitr, so that when families and children of martyrs ,other loved ones as well as common momineen visit the graveyard as is recommended in traditions from Ahlulbayt[AS], they are easily able to identify and recite fateha on the grave of martyrs. This Bouquet fixing activity is a humble expression of gratitude to beloved martyrs from Shaheed Foundation Pakistan on behalf of entire Millat-e-Jaffaria Pakistan and it serves to remind all of us that the remembrance of martyrs is what keeps us alive and safe-guards/propagates the core religious values of Shahadat and sacrifice.
