16 Jul 2015 Zakat-e-Fitra Collection on the Blessed Occassion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2015 Shaheed Foundation Pakistan is currently serving 1933 families of martyrs of Millat-e-Jaffaria Pakistan with a monthly amount [as of May 2015] of Rs. 19,302,380 across the length and breadth of the country .
As the Holy month of Ramadhan ul Mubarak draws into to a close finally after sprinkling its countless bounties and blessings , these are sombre moments to bid farewell to the Holy month ,the Shahr Allaah. May Allaah by the right of Hazrat Mohammad wa Aal-e-Mohammad [SAWW] rinse us of our sins and purify our souls ,thoughts and actions enabling us to become qualified to receive the mercy ,forgiveness and blessing of Allaah [SWT] .
عَنِ الإِمَامِ الصَّادِقِ: إِنَّ مِنْ تَمَامِ الصَّوْمِ إِعْطَاءَ الزَّكَاةِ - يَعْنِي الْفِطْرَةَ - كَمَا أَنَّ الصَّلاَةَ عَلى النَّبِيّ مِنْ تَمَامِ الصَّلاَةِ، لأَِنَّهُ مَنْ صَامَ وَلَمْ يُؤَدِّ الزَّكَاةَ فَلاَ صَوْمَ لَهُ إِذَا تَرَكَهَا مُتَعَمِّداً.
On the authority of Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him): “Indeed as part of the completion of the fast (in the month of Ramadhan), is to give the zakat – which means the ‘fitrah’; just as sending blessings upon the Apostle (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) is a part of the completion of the prayer; for indeed whosoever fasts but does not perform the zakat (of fitrah) and abandons it intentionally, it is as if he has not fasted at all.”

Every year Shaheed Foundation Pakistan collects Zakat-e-Fitra from Saadat and non-Sadat momineen and utilize it accordingly for serving the martyrs families . Inshaallaah arrangements for Zakat-e-Fitrana Collection will be made like yesteryears at different places including our Headoffice located at F.B.Area Block 20 Karachi.
