Blood,Tears,Cries and Sobs as the Heart of Pakistan's Struck by Terror
At least 65 Pakistanis were martyred and at least 250 sustained injuries including young children and ladies when a powerful bomb blast rocked the Gulshan-e-Iqbal public park situated in Lahore.
The incident took place when the park was flocked by families tonight and was witnessing an un-usually high attendance due to weekend which coincided with christian holy festival.
Later, media reports suggested that an offshoot of yazidi terrorist organization TTP ,by the name of Jamatul Ahrar claimed the responsibility of the attack and mentioned that christian families were the main target.
Easter is a festival celebrated to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day of his crucifixion at the hands of Romans according to traditions of christian faith.
Punjab houses a significant population of christian fraternity which has remained under the attack of religious fanaticists even in past as well ,due to strong footprint of hardcore militant groups in different parts of Punjab and the socio-political influence weilded by them practically leaves them untouched due to cowardice of successive regimes and administrations as well as their denial.
It is time for the government to take a decisive action against takfiri terrorist organizations and their sleeper cells in Punjab.
At this crucial juncture ,we stand shoulder to shoulder with the victims of the tragedy and extend our heartfelt condolences to bereaved families on behalf of Khanwada-e-Shohada-e-Millat-e-Jaffaria Pakistan and Shaheed Foundation Pakistan.
