Shahadat Anniversary of Sayyida Fatema-tuz-Zahra (salaam ullah Alaiha)
Syeda Fatima Zahra (sa)
Fatima, Al Razia, Al Marzia, Al Taherah, Al Muhadisa, Az Zakiya, Az Zahra, Al Batool, Al Azra, The dear daughter of the Holy Prophet (s) and the beloved mother of Hasan and Hussain departed to meet her Lord at the young age of 18 years.
During her short life, she manifested an exemplary character of an Islamic Woman. Since the early ages of her life, Shed was found taking care of Rasool Allah such that The messenger of Allah used to call her ''Umm-e-Abeeha'' (The mother of her father). Her Marriage with Ali was destined by God and as hinted in the Quran, brought forth the pearls of Lu'lu and Marjan for Humanity: Hasan and Hussain.
Her martyrdom occured only after a short duration after the death of Holy Prophet (s). During these days, so much in the islamic society had changed that she wrote herself:
"After the death of my father my sufferings were so dreadful that if such hardships fell upon days, the days would turn into dark nights."
The major causes of distress for Fatima, which led to her Shahadat were the usurpation of Ali's right to caliphate, Fidak and the miscarriage of Mohsin.
After the passing away of the Holy Prophet (s), this was another tragedy which fell on the Ahlulbayt.
Imam Ali on the occasion of the burial of Bibi Fatima while addressing the Holy Prophet at his grave, said:
"Your daughter would apprise you of the joining together of your ummah (people) for oppressing her. You ask her in detail and get all the news about the position. This has happened when a long time had not elapsed and your remembrance had not disappeared. My salam (salutation) be on you both, the salam of a grief stricken."
In the darkness of the jet-black night, when eyes were asleep and voices were silent, a Heavenly procession left Imam Ali's house while carrying the Messenger of Allah's daughter to her final abode.
The heartbreaking procession moved towards an unknown location followed by a small number of devoted ones, Mainly Ali, Hassan, Hussain, Abu Dhar, Ammar, Miqdad, and Salman.
Where are the thousands who inhabited Medina?! One asks, and the answer came: Fatima (sa) requested that they may not be present at her funeral! In this request ,is an immense lesson for all those who inflicted upon the Household of Prophet (SAWW) attrocities and on those whose doors Sayyida (S.A) knocked and they remained silent for the fear of joining an 'un-popular ' cause in the eyes of world . A world for whom Maula Ali said ,that it is worse than the "irak-al-khinzeer' in the hands of a leper [mabroos].
The family and their friends hurry to bury Fatima(sa), then they rushed back to their own homes so that no one would know where Fatima was buried.
On her grand mother's martyrdom, we extend our heart felt condolences to the Imam of our time, Imam Sahibuz Zaman and pray to Allah Subhan Wa Tallah for his early return, so that oppression on the Ahlulbayt and their followers can be avenged. Ameen.
