At least 150 Palestinians have lost their lives and 1,200 others have been injured as the Tel Aviv regime continues deadly airstrikes against the besieged Gaza Strip.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei
has urged Islamic and Arab countries to take action to support the people of the Gaza Strip and end the blockade on the Palestinian enclave.
The Islamic countries and in particular the Arab governments should, in a united move, help the oppressed people of Gaza and try to end the blockade on this region's Ayatollah Khamenei said on Wednesday.
As the Zionist aggression on Gaza entered it eight consecutive day, the Zionist regime intensified its violent attacks on the strip while the resistance in Gaza also increased its retaliation and hit the ego of the occupying entity.
Zionist forces intensified their attacks on the Palestinians on Tuesday. On Wednesday too, the occupying regime also launched fresh attacks on Gaza killing at least one Palestinian in the north of Gaza.
The overall toll from the offensive had reached around 139 Palestinians martyred, among them 34 children, and over 1,100 others injured since last Wednesday when the Israeli aggression began. The Zionist entity had conducted more than 1,450 aerial and sea attacks against the Gaza Strip since November 14.
On Tuesday night, the Israeli jets bombed Hamas government building in Gaza City again. Hamas government buildings had been targeted on Saturday, including the prime minister's office.
The Zionist entity didn't spare the media from its attacks. Press TV correspondent Akram al-Sattari was injured in an Israeli airstrike in the early hours of Wednesday on a hotel that housed journalists in the Gaza Strip.
The hotel had already been hit twice prior to al-Sattaria's injury. The journalist sustained injuries and was taken to hospital.
The office of Agence France-Presse was also hit by three Israeli rockets that struck the sixth floor of the building on Tuesday night.
Also on Tuesday, Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip killed three Palestinian journalists in their cars. Two of those killed were cameramen working for Al-Aqsa TV. Mohammed Thouraya, head of the station, said the two were driving in a car with press markings in Gaza City on Tuesday afternoon, shortly after wrapping up an assignment at the city's al-Shifa Hospital. Thouraya added that the bodies of the two, Mohammed al-Koumi and Hussam Salam, were badly burned.
The Moscow-based Russia Today news station reported on November 18 that its office on the top floor of the Showa Media Center in Gaza City "was destroyed after (an) Israeli airstrike hit the building."
In turn, the Palestinian resistance retaliated to the Israeli attacks with firing several rockets on different part in the occupied territories.
Rockets hit Sha'ar HaNegev regional council in the south of the Zionist entity, with no immediate reports of casualties. Four explosions were also heard in Israeli Eshkol regional council on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Izzeddin Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said it fired three Grad rockets at Migdal. The Al-Qassam Brigades also said it had fired 10 Grad rockets at Israel's Hatzor airbase. Al-Qassam Brigades announced late on Tuesday that it has fired 1,426 missiles fired into the occupying entity so far.
Saraya al-Quds announced it had fired four Grad rockets at the south of the entity. Also yesterday, reports said the Palestinian resistance targeted an Israeli warship. Al-Quds Brigades reportedly bombed Ashdod and Ashkelon with 4 Grad rockets on Wednesday.
The Israeli Maariv newspaper said that Beersheva had turned into a ghost town after it was showered with the resistance missiles and bombings.
On the other hand ,Hezbollah Secretary General of Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah
said on Monday that the future of our region is the future of steadfast heroes and not that of ewes, pledging that Iran, Syria and Hezbollah won't abandon the resistance groups in Gaza
Sayyed Nasrallah was responding to a statement by the Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim Al-Thani during the Arab League ministerial emergency meeting on Saturday evening to discuss the Israeli aggression on Gaza. "Wolves eat sheep; they referring to the Israelis) are not wolves, but most of us are ewes," the Qatari FM said.
In Palestine, Lebanon and much of the Arab world, there are lions and heroes. He who sees himself as an ewe let him speak about himself, he is not entitled to say that most of the Arabs became ewes, Sayyed Nasrallah said.
"There are governments, leaders and media people who have become ewes," Sayyed Nasrallah said, adding that the "lions and heroes are the ones who will make the history and achievements of this nation, like what happened in Lebanon in 2006 and Gaza in 2008 and as it is happening today in Gaza, this is the future of the heroes and not that of the ewes."
How Missiles Are Getting Into Gaza?
One official from an Arab country was quoted as saying that: "Palestinians should not be given hope more than we can do, and that the aid pledged by Arab countries was not submitted to the Palestinians, noting that some Arabs contributed to the blockade on Gaza." This is a good recognition, the S.G said in atelevised speech on the fifth night of Muharram, wondering "How did this huge number of missiles reach the Palestinian resistance? Who sent it and who delivered it? Who enabled Gaza, besides the will of Allah, to fight or destroy Israeli armaments? And how did anti-aircraft missiles reach into Gaza?" "This is what we must reconsider today, we must realize who enabled Gaza today to stand on its feet and fight and bomb Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The role of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Syria in arming the Palestinian resistance is evident," His eminence pointed out.
"Arabs today admit they besieged Gaza, the real Arabism and the genuine Islam is that Arab countries send arms to Gaza, because the Israelis bet on the cessation of the rockets stockpile in Gaza," Sayyed Nasrallah said.
Arms Should be Sent to Gaza, Not Syria
Criticizing some Arab countries who were championing in sending weapons to the armed opposition in Syria instead of sending it to Gaza, Sayyed Nasrallah said: "One of the most important duties is to open borders to Gaza and deliver more missiles to the resistance. Where are the Arabs who are sending arms to dissidents in Syria? They do not dare to send a shot into Gaza because the enemy there is 'Israel'."
"Some are saying that Israel is punishing Hamas for they think it abandoned Iran, Syria and Hizbullah," His Eminence said, stressing that Iran, Syria and Hezbollah did not and will not abandon the people and resistance of Gaza; "this is our religious, moral and humanitarian duty, hailing the steadfastness of the resistance in Gaza and adherence to its conditions as the Zionist entity today is seeking a ceasefire to restore the situation to what it was before the assassination of Ahmed Al-Ja'abari, but the resistance rejects this solution."
Israelis Target Civilians Because of their Bankruptcy
The Israeli bank of targets had bankrupted so the murderous entity is committing these kinds of massacres, the S.G indicated. "Some Israeli targets in Gaza are being bombed again and again, and resistance rockets are still being fired from Gaza and hitting in the depth of the Zionist entity. So, the Zionists returned to their criminal nature with killing large numbers of children, women and civilians since yesterday. This reflects the failure of the Israeli military operation in Gaza and its failure to achieve its objectives in pushing the resistance movements to relinquish its rightful conditions," Sayyed Nasrallah said.
"As the Gazans witnessed in 2008 and as we experienced in Lebanon, the resistance and its leaders had overcame the era when their arms would be twisted by massacring children and women," His eminence said.
Arabs Brought Nothing New in Emergency Meeting
Comparing the statement of the 2008 meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers meeting and the last Saturday statement, Sayyed Nasrallah said both statements were the same, except in two items. "The first one called on all states to stop all forms of normalization with "Israel" , this is a foregone conclusion. The second one was to assign to the Arab Peace Initiative Committee to reassess the Arab position on the peace process. This was the maximum Arab countries were able to issue in the 'Arab Spring' era.
The S.G added, "We hope more than that, but we do not expect more. Arab countries are required to support and arm Gaza and not to work as intermediaries between the Israeli enemy and Gaz. It's evident that these countries benefit to be a red crescent only."
